Pupils in upper years experienced an exceptional day of the best and the most interesting lessons. The event took place on 15 March in Žalgiris Arena. Leaders in their respective fields teached the most interesting and exciting lessons.
Non-traditional lessons were taught by historian Alfredas Bumblauskas, financier Ingrida Šimonytė, creative director of the “New!” creative agency Tomas Ramanauskas, singer Marijonas Mikutavičius, CEO of „Maxima grupė” Dalius Misiūnas, businessman Ilja Laurs and others.
The project is sponsored by “Vilniaus prekybos paramos fondas DABAR”, which contributes to faster improvement of the educational system in Lithuania. Its director Elena Aleknavičienė states that the goal of this project is to inspire and motivate pupils as well as teachers.
“We believe that such extraordinary lessons as well as famous people teaching them inspires and motivates pupils and teachers. Pupils understood that learning is not only important and compulsory, but also interesting. So they returned to their classrooms with increased motivation to learn. Because knowledge and experience gained in school are very important,” states E. Aleknavičienė.
